Q1. Can you please introduce yourself as well as Shiryo ?
Hello 👋 My name is Marcin Gorny, I am a Chief Marketing Officer at Shiryo. I’m a blockchain enthusiast and a gamer at heart. 😁
Shiryo project has many elements but at its core, it is a Trading Card Game (TCG) similar to Magic The Gathering, or Hearthstone but it incorporates blockchain elements.
I and the rest of the team played a lot of both computer and physical TCGs in the past and we all loved some of its aspects but some things were missing between the two. 🙁
In physical tabletop, TCGs players own their cards but they have to meet in person so it is quite limiting. On the other hand, Computer Card Games like Hearthstone are easier to find the opponent to play against but the cards aren’t owned by the players, they can’t do anything besides use them in the game.
In our game, each Card is an NFT. 🤗
That opens all sorts of possibilities and opportunities for the players.
Ease to play against many different players BUT also possibility to sell/borrow your cards to others combined ❗️
Our project has its own Native currency token $SHIRYO. All things revolve around it in our ecosystem, making it a valuable asset for both our players and investors.

Q2. please tell us about the goal you want to achieve in this year.
Our key goal is to launch Alpha and Beta versions of the game.
The development is in an advanced stage and we are on track for that goal so far 😃.
Other side goals include Shiryo DAO (game balance voting) that launches on the 11th of July, new gameplay videos, and a concept art NFTs auction.
Q3. Every project has a story behind their name, Can you tell us more about the story behind this? Who are the team behind this project? can tell us their background?
Ahh yess of course❕
Shiryo is a Japanese word meaning “souls of the dead”. I know, I know it sounds grim 😅 but it is deeply rooted in our game world lore. The world in which the game takes place was ravaged by a curse that changes the souls of the dead into Werewolves.
Our team has 40+ members some working full-time and some part-time. That includes blockchain devs, game devs, concept artists, moderators, designers, etc.
Our core team has helped many blockchain projects to make their ideas come to light in the past. However we always felt if we teamed up, we could create something greater 😁 and here we are
Q4. NFT is one of the hottest and most sought-after topics in the blockchain space right now. Can you share your opinion on NFT with us? Do you think NFT will disrupt the current financial system? What is Your project’s approach to the NFT sector?
As I mentioned before our project heavily revolves around NFTs. I wouldn’t say it could disrupt the financial system but indeed I believe NFTs will make an impact on the world.
The utilities of non-fungible tokens could be endless. Trading cards, proof of authenticity for physical objects, tickets for events, and many many more.

Q1 Many games today set high costs to start the game & therefore start with a small player base. Does #Shiryo an entrance fee or starting conditions & if so,what are they?Do I need to hold an NFT or hold a certain amount of tokens in order to enjoy & play?
Very good question❗️
We thought about that and we decided that each player will receive 50 free cards (non-NFT), just for making a player account. No crypto wallet or blockchain experience is required at the start.
Then if a player would want to try the full NFT collection we came up with another idea.
Card borrowing 🤗 Other players will be able to lend their unused cards to other players but also new players will be able to borrow a full deck from the game itself at an affordable fixed price (paid in $SHIRYO).
Also Ethereum is soon going to change to Proof of Stake and that will reduce cost to play the game one Eth blockchain as well
Q2 What is your top priorities in the end of 2022 and the coming 2023,so Could you share some plans for the upcoming year?Which part of the project are you most focused on right now?
We have planned to release the beta version of the game at the end of 2022 and then full release in 2023. 😎
If everything will go according to plan the next goal will be to release a new card expansion including many new NFTs to spice up the gameplay.
In the meantime we are also working on Shiryoverse
Q3 The Shiryo is a online trading card game which is powered by the ethereum blockchain. Ethereum has high gas fees comparatively. Why Ethereum then? Any future planning to add other blockchains such as BSC, Polygon, Solana?
We have chosen the Ethereum network for its exposure.
We want to let many people know about our project so it was a no-brainer to use the biggest blockchain.
However, we know its quite expensive and that’s why we have launched our cards on Polygon as well 😁
No matter what blockchain you are holding your cards on they will appear in the game.
Q4 What is the competitive advantage of your project? Can you tell me 1-3 best characteristics of your project that other projects don’t have to convince me and other investors to invest in your project for a long time?
- We have launched our project 9 months ago and so far we have over-delivered on many things.
- We are listening to our community. For example, we have launched $SHIRYO token staking because our community asked for it. (We didn’t even have it in our roadmap❗️).

Q5 About your NFTs, Can you explain further about the utilities of these NFTs within your platform? Are they meant to be held as simple collectibles or will they have additional benefits? Also, will you have your own marketplace to sell and buy the “#Shiryo” NFTs?

We have couple of different kinds of NFTs in our ecosystem:
- cards
- avatars
- concept art (will be released on 11th of july)
- land (date TBA)
The main utility of the cards is to be played in our game, but also it has a collectible value and each card can be also lent to other players in the future🤗
Avatars are used as profile pictures in our game. It serves as a visual representation for each of the players.
The avatars will have new exciting utility in the future but I can’t disclose it as of yet. I hyped about that one NGL 😁
Concept arts are purely collectible but we have so many awesome artworks that were drafted for our cards, we need to release them to the public. Our community will decide by our Shiryo DAO on what will we spend the raised funds on.
Land – We are developing a metaverse for Shiryo too
As for our own marketplace – indeed we have one !

Q6 Most of the time, small and
medium investors usually withdraw from the project when the token price has a strong increase in the short term, please explain the benefits when investors hold your tokens, as well as when using your products?
Our token is heavily used in our game ecosystem. Pleayers will be able to use the tokens to vote for the game balance changes, stake the tokens to receive NFT cards, borrow cards and decks, pay for the assets in our metaverse or participate in tournaments. The more auccessful the game will be the more the token price will increase

Our highest priority is the product – our game. For it to be successful we need all other key points you have mentioned. Security is very important for an online game to ensure players dont cheat. We are constantly working partnerships to ensure people have heard about Shiryo. In the end all of that will be a factor that will increase the token pricr
