Q1. Can you introduce yourself to our community?
Hello everyone – my name is John Wick and I have been a marketing professional for 3+ years. Before that I worked in the autonomous vehicle industry helping to build and deploy autonomous aerial vehicles as well as self piloting cars. Ended up transitioning to a career helping crypto projects gain exposure after investing and experimenting with crypto since about 2015-2016 and haven’t looked back since! I am part of the marketing team here at Starchi and I’m super excited to be a part of this project and to have the opportunity to talk to you guys about everything that we are accomplishing right now!
Q2. Can you briefly tell us what is Starchi?

So @OfficialStarchi Starchi is an NFT and Play to Earn game that takes place in a world much like our own. Players collect, raise, and train Starchi in an effort to eventually allow them to compete inside of the battle arena and while earning $ELIXIR. Starchi is unique because it really creates an immersive experience for the player by allowing them to truly influence the happiness, health and skill set of their creatures. Starchi Collectors earn wages via friendly battles to be amongst the top Collectors in their village.
Starchi Collectors acquire Starchis by purchasing them in various stages from the local marketplace as per below.
- Freshly-minted Starchi eggs
- Toddler, teenager, and adult Starchis
listed for sale by their collectors - Neglected Starchis (those not well taken
care of) that are listed for adoption
Each Starchi possesses unique attributes and stats indicating its current state. A Starchi can possess one or more elements with a power ratio from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest). Elements dictate attack vectors during battles.
- Stats include: HP (Hit Points), Energy, Exercise, and Hygiene
- Elements include: Neutral, Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, Animal, Poison, Undead, and Lightning
Any Starchi Collector can create a battle arena for a low fee and decide which Starchi from their collection will attend the battle. Winners collect the majority of the fee plus earnings in reward tokens.
- Any eligible Starchi Collector can join
- Winners earn 85% of the START token fee
plus the in-game rewards token - 10% of the remaining START tokens goes to
staking income and the last 5% is burned

Q4. Every project has a story behind their name, Can you tell us more about the story behind this? Who are the team behind this project? can tell us their background?
Sure! So @OfficiallyStarchi is inspired by Tamagotchi, one of the most popular games of the 90’s and early 2000’s. The name is actually a cross between the Star in @StarterXyz and the chi is to pay homage to the game
So as far as the team goes
The @OfficialStarchi team is an awesome group of people with a myriad of different backgrounds and experiences that are all coming together to create play to earn greatness. A lot of us have a background working with @StarterXyz which is one of the largest launchpads currently in the defi space. They have collectively helped more than 40+ projects raise over 25+ million USD and show no signs of slowing down –
On a leadership front We have @TheBarChef who is our fearless leader and coding wizard – he has over 20 years of experience and is has had a hand in some of the biggest projects and launches on BSC! We also have Angela Brasington who also goes by @Moontrips.
She is a marketing guru and has worked everywhere from her own businesses to the fashion industry and more before coming to crypto and helping to lead the charge for launches on Starter.Xyz. We also have a great series of team members who work around the clock in many different areas to ensure Starchi is a success.

Q5. NFT is one of the hottest and most sought-after topics in the blockchain space right now. Can you share your opinion on NFT with us? Do you think NFT will disrupt the current financial system? What is Starchi’s approach to the NFT sector?
So I think NFT’s are one of the most unique asset classes that we have seen in a long time, especially when it comes to ownership; however, I believe that just like tokens, they require utility to truly be valuable over the longterm. Each individaul Starchi, battle element and in game Item in the @OfficialStarchi universe is an NFT that you collect and hold while you play the game. These NFT’s are unique because each @OfficalStarchi has utility and can be used thoughout the ecosystem in a number of exciting ways!

Q1:Starchi is a peer-to-peer (P2P) blockchain game. As one of the main attractions of blockchain games, most P2E games simply focus on earnings. My question is whether Starchi places a greater emphasis on the player experience both within and outside of the games in order to strike!?
Great question – I think that one of the things that makes @OfficialStarchi so unique is that it comes from a source of inspiration outside of play-to-earn. Tamagotchi was a huge series that really pushed the envelope and was considered groundbreaking for its time – it didnt depend on earnings or tokenomics it was judged strictly by how well it played and honestly how fun it was! Alot of these features have not only been included into the @OfficialStarchi game, they have actually been enhanced and improved upon! So while I know that our tokenomics are awesome, I think the game is an entriely new experience in gamefi and cant wait for people to get their hands on it
Q2: For the gamers who want the NFTs but cant afford to buy it. Are Starchi serve a features like rent NFTs or Scholarship programs? in order to make an attraction to the player, are Starchi present a low cost entrance to fit the new player portfolios?
A lot of these details have not been announced yet, but I can tell you that we will be implementing a @OfficalStarchi ambassadors program that will let our most supportive members get access to a scholorship program to help them accelerate their @OfficialStarchi collection journey!
Q3:If the player does not pet and feed the pet, it will die in the old Tamagotchi game. Will this be the case with Starchi, given that he was influenced by this game? Is it possible for the pets and characters in the game to perish from famine and a lack of petting and care…?
One of my favorite features of the @OfficialStarchi game is the fact that it mirrors the old Tamagotchi series remarkably well while also being its own unique experience. Starchi Collectors are responsible for acquiring and nurturing Starchis from infancy to adulthood. They are also responsible for preventing the extinction of Starchi-kind.To prepare for battle, Collectors must do the following:
- Wake Up
- Eat
- Play
- Sleep
Each one of these areas requires a ceartin amount of time to be spent daily in order to keep your Starchi healthy and prevent it from being neglected or going extinct
The cool thing is that collectors can adopt negletted Starchi from our pet store and nurse them back to health for use in their own collector battles
Q4:I read in an article in your medium that it is currently possible to have “friendly battles” between starchis, but what exactly do these battles consist of? Against whom is it possible to compete?
Loving these questions! The battles take place between different players, known as @OfficialStarchi collectors – these collectors battle to get on the top of leaderboards and eventually become the top collectors in their village – each battle earns a collector $ELIXIR rewards that can then be staked or used in store.

Q5 Most of the users are looking for games with Play to Earn functionality as a new way to earn money and amplify their income. What is the attraction of Starchi in the money that can be earned by playing? How is income generated, just by selling NFTs or the original token?
Great question here William – thanks for taking the time to take a look at @OfficialStarchi – One of the things that makes @OfficialStarchi so attractive is the potential to earn and the features that have been implemented to help you do so from launch – The way we see it, the more you play, the more you should earn and we have set out to find the best ways to make this vision into a reality. So there are a few ways to earn in @OfficialStarchi – as you said before you can sell the NFT’s or native tokens at a profit – but this is really just the tip of the iceberg.
- Battle Rewards

Q6 Can you give an overview of your Tokenomics, and token usage?

So @OfficialStarchi is a dual token economy, which uses Starter’s $START token to access the game and buy Starchi as well as Starchi’s liquid luck token, $ELIXIR, our magical mix that makes the Collector wealthier for a period of time (while in possession of the elixir), is used for in-game rewards.
The World of Starchi is a Play to Earn economy providing Collectors with wages based on the completion of certain objectives. The tokenomics provides for a Play to Earn allocation of 20,000,000 ELIXIR for in-game rewards.
- Earn START arena fees & ELIXIR by winning battles
- Earn ELIXIR in future contests & tournaments
- Earn START & ELIXIR with staking income
- Earn ELIXIR by topping leaderboards, such as Most Active Collector, Longest Starchi holder, and more
