Q1. Can you please introduce yourself as well as Zambesi Gold ?
My name is Wessel Sevenster HEAD OF LEGAL, COMMERCIAL & COMPLIANCE. Being a commercial lawyer practising in the financial industry and realizing the increasing challenge of inflation and commercial constraints within the informal section, specifically in Africa, I ventured into the Fintech/blockchain/crypto industry approximately 5 years ago.
Zambesi Gold (Pty) Ltd is a mining company specialising in the acquisition and development of selected mining assets. This thriving business is backed by real gold, real people and real mining operations combined with real value.
Q2. What are the advantages of Your project ?
Zambesi Gold signifies an agreement between the Zambesi Token and its investors that no fractional lending will take place. The number of tokens will be fixed, preventing inflation, therefore a thoken’s value will increase irrespective of the demand for the token or the gold price. The amount of gold backing for each token adds a corresponding monthly increase. The Zambesi Token, just like real gold is perfectly divisible, with historic and inherent value projected for the future. Similar to gold, the immutability of blockchain and the implementation of smart contracts ensure your ownership securely and transparently. The Zambesi Gold standard is a monetary system backed by the value of physical gold.
25% of all profit gold from Middelvlei mine and all other future projects will be streaming to the independently managed gold vault (custodianship on behalf of token holders). Thereby ensuring Zambesi Gold will accumulate every month as Middelvlei and future mines produce gold. Tokens will be burned as and when token holders redeem their proportionate gold value and paid out in USDC at the gold price of that day. This will effectively reduce tokens and increase all remaining token holders proportionate ownership in the ever increasing gold and exponentially increasing value and demand of ZGD.
Q3. please tell us about the goal you want to achieve in this year.
To succeed where others have failed! To lead the transition in mining assets becoming fully backed digital assets.
Cost efficiency goes all the way back to the basics: First things first by keeping the main thing the main thing. Each asset should contribute to the profitability of the business and not subsidise other assets while innovatively using disruptive finance methods to reduce the cost of debt.
The Gold Custodian Trust is the gate keeper of the vault where the physical bullion gets stored. The token holders are the beneficiaries of the custodian trust. By implementing this structure, the token holders are guaranteed that the gold will always increase in quantity and value without the risk of it being encumbered or jeopardised.
The amount of gold deposited into the vault each month, will always increase. No gold will be encumbered or withdrawn, except if the equal number of tokens are withdrawn from circulation and burned.
Our objective for the next 6 months is to constantly grow the value by revealing our new mine acquisitions which will form part of the Zambesi Gold value proposition and increase our followers and investors base. Our ultimate goal is to be listed on a top tear exchange which process will commence as soon as our independent audit are completed

Q5. NFT is one of the hottest and most sought-after topics in the blockchain space right now. Can you share your opinion on NFT with us? Do you think NFT will disrupt the current financial system? What is Your project’s approach to the NFT sector?
NFT is an extremely important component of our road map and we are in the process of developing launch which will include gold backed NFT’s, combined with specific accomplishments on our road map, dusk ensuring a new generation of NFT’s which combines fundamental value and the exclusiveness of ownership in both the commercial and virtual space.

Q3. How can Zambesi Gold keep funds secure? Since most of the common problems that often occurs in Defi projects is that smart contract can lead to loss of funds. What steps has your team taken into consideration to fix this major problem & prevent such occurrences in the future?
We have coded our own smart contract for our staking wallwts utilizing best coding practices….we also implemented non custodial solution…we have no login credentials…also gold backing hedges the currency fluctuations to mitigate against not being able to convert curreny during staking periods
Q4. There is a large audience that does not understand the English language at all but is interested in crypto. Have you created or planned to create local communities to include this audience in your project?
As we go along and see the need for other communities in other languages, we will have admin members creating groups specially for those languages. We currently have a Chinese telegram community. We would like to create more groups for people in other countries to accommodate them.
